spacerWhat can I say about this track? My friend Patrick Cummings at Brian Moore Guitar said upon hearing this one: "Twin Turbo is just nuts...I love it" Thanks Pat! This is kind of the soundtrack to a car chase scene...note the european "police siren" impersonation on my guitar about half way thru! I found a bunch of synth and percussion loops and a drum loop that were intense and then put them onto the timeline almost at random. I listened to the whole mess and rearranged them to have a more predictable form. Then I plugged in my iGuitar, dialed up a crazed sound and went for it. I did the guitar in about an hour, working my way thru improvising melodies and solos. It is over the top and it was a very rewarding experience. When I listen back to it now, I realize that I was in a "zone" that day and was inspired by all of the cool loops that were available to me in GarageBand. I had the additional Apple Jam Pack 1 on my machine for this CD and some of the sounds and loops are from there. I highly recommend the addition of Jam Packs because they really broaden the depth of GarageBand. As I was completeing the CD, additional Jam Packs were released and I can't wait to check them out.
