About a month before I started this project, I became familiar with a guitarist named Johnny A. He's truly inspiring and while I don't really sound like him, I came up with this funky little instrumental called Shimmy after hearing his latest album....highly recommended....buy it today. Kindof a James Brown groove. I like this style and have been playing this way for a long time. I have decided over time that this clean funky guitar sound is an important ingredient in my music and this song is fun to play! The "organ" parts and solo were played on my iGuitar too. It tracks great as a midi controller. My iGuitar "outstrats" my Fender Strat here and elsewhere on the CD too! Get funky!!
