Mac G4 with OWC Processor upgrade, OWC FireWire 800 drive, M-Audio Fast Track audio interface, M-Audio Nova mic, Digidesign MBox audio interface, Brian Moore Guitars iGuitar, Apple GarageBand software, M-Audio Oxygen 8 keyboard (used to program drum track)

This is the first song I wrote for the CD. I had the concept for the song and a pretty complete sound in my head. I did my usual process of tweaking the key and tempo but moved on to programming the drums and bass right away. The Arena Rock guitar preset in GarageBand is pretty rockin and I was moving quickly thru the song. The vocals were a bit tough as I had to rethink the melody and make it something that I could sing convincingly. The "B3 Organ" track was played on my iGuitar and the organ presets in GarageBand in general are quite good. I love that Hammond/Leslie sound! Also, please note the "backwards" guitar part that I used in the middle of the song. I just recorded a short solo and then drew volume swells and cuts on the track to make it "sound" backwards. That was fun! This song has alot of parts and I worked on it for several days before I was satisfied. I hope you like it too!
