spacerI wrote this song for a country rock female singer. I had to change the lyrics around here and I had fun with the energy of this track. It's pretty straightforward and meant to paint a picture of a fun night out......drinkin, dancin...no regrets- just good clean fun! I suppose it has a somewhat retro feel to it but it rocks out pretty darn good. Without Chuck Berry, none of us could play this kinda thing...all hail rock & roll! GarageBand covered alot of ground for me on this CD and it's a very cool little tool. It puts the creative power in your hands and I enjoy using it immensely!

Lyrics

Drinkin, Line Dancin
Gonna raise a little hell
Take it over the top
We’ll have some stories to tell
Ain’t nothing wrong with blowin off a little steam
Got the pedal to the metal
Like a NASCAR dad
We were built to boogie
We were born to be bad
Do a few shots, let the party begin
Wake up tomorrow start all over again

spacerWe’re gonna rip it up
spacerGot this gin joint rockin
spacerGonna blow the roof off
spacerWe’re gonna tear it up
spacerGot this juke joint jumpin
spacerGonna party non-stop - now look out
spacerWe’re gonna rip it up

All you city girls
Hold onto your hats
We’re a force of nature
That’s a natural fact
The dance floor is rockin and the drummer’s got that look in his eye
Steel guitar is cryin
The beers are cold
Ain’t no stopping us
We’re ready to roll
So many women and so little time
These good old boys have got em standin in line
